Jamie Dangerfield, lcsw

It all started when…

Jamie Dangerfield completed her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah in 2016 and became fully licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2018. She previously worked at a non-profit organization working with children, adolescents, and families who were involved in the foster care system and post-adoption. Most recently, Jamie worked as a medical social worker providing case management for the critically ill and their support systems. Within this role, she worked with patients and families who were experiencing grief, loss, death, and dying following various precipitating events. She worked directly with individuals who were actively dying and their various support people, providing comfort, support, and grief management. Jamie strives to hold space during the most vulnerable times in a person’s life. In addition to her employment at Grandview Family Counseling, Jamie is the Program Director for the Grief Center at Grandview for Good, a non-profit organization that is focused on providing accessible therapy for grief and trauma work. She is also an adjunct professor at Weber State University. In her free time, she enjoys painting, listening to true crime podcasts, and spending time with her family and friends.
